I plan to.
“I know you do, Kurt. I really do.” Blaine said. “I think that’s how any decent parent would think like that, honestly. Mine didn’t, but they weren’t exactly stellar parents in the first place. We’re different and I’m proud of that. Ellie deserves to have a good, loving, supportive home like we’ve provided for her.” He really was proud of the home they had been able to give their daughter. That was more than some straight couples could say, at least.
Blaine let himself cuddle closer to his husband, listening quietly as he spoke. “Maybe you’re right.” He sighed. It wasn’t an easy admission, but maybe Ellie was better off without them. He already knew he was, but his daughter? That had always been different, in his mind. But maybe she really was better off without them too. “We can do that.” He nodded. “We can go lay down if you want.”
“Just… let’s sleep on it and if you still feel like you want them in Ellie’s life, well… we’ll go from there. Okay?” Kurt asked. He was fully prepared to call Blaine’s parents if need be. He knew that the Andersons didn’t care much for him but he knew he would try to settle things between Blaine and the elder Andersons if he could or needed to. “Let’s just… let’s go to bed. We’ll sort this out in the morning. It’s late and I know you’re tired. I can see it.” The younger man muttered, moving to stand from the couch. He offered his hand to Blaine not only to help him off the couch but to lead them to their room.
He dug through Blaine’s drawers, grabbing a pair of sweatpants out for Blaine and placing them in his hands. “I know it’s probably to hot for you to wear a shirt.” He explained, “Unless you want one, but I just assumed…” Kurt said with a small shrug, pulling out a pair of sweats for himself and a tank top. He knew it was silly to grab a shirt but he still felt a little self-conscious. He pushed himself to change infront of Blaine, however. He had to be the strong one tonight, and he wasn’t going to prove it in even such a small action. He moved over to sit on the bed, his back resting against the headboard as he waited for Blaine to join him. He wasn’t about to pressure Blaine to hurry, and there was no rush. He just wanted to make sure Blaine was okay, and as soon as he laid down next to Kurt he was holding going to hold him. That was that. “Baby. I’m really sorry about all of this. I… wish I could do more. I really do.”
Blaine moved from the couch into their bedroom, and plopped himself down on the bed. Without a word, he took the sweatpants from his husband. “Thanks.” He said, getting himself undressed. Quickly, he got changed without even glancing at his husband. “Nah. I think I’ll be okay without one, if you don’t mind.” He told his husband as he carefully crawled into bed.
“Thanks, though.” He glanced up at the countertenor. “Thanks for… taking care of me. I know it wasn’t easy, but I really appreciate it.” He knew he’d still be curled up on the couch if it weren’t for Kurt. He’d still be lying there questioning why he wasn’t good enough and crying because his parents didn’t love him. Kurt had helped a lot and he was grateful. It was good to be reminded how much his husband loved him.
Good to know.

What can I say? I always want you.

“Maybe… Maybe we can.” Blaine nodded. Much as he wanted to have his parents in his life, but maybe it was for the best that he keep them away from them. At least this way his daughter wouldn’t have to listen to their ignorant remarks. And Kurt was right. They really weren’t normal. Normal wasn’t high school sweethearts who ended up in a successful marriage like they had. Normal wasn’t having a baby at 20. Normal wasn’t them. Not by a long shot. But he wasn’t ashamed to be different. Their relationship suited them just fine.
He sighed. “I don’t know. I just want what’s best for our daughter, you know? I want her to have all the love and happiness in the world. She deserves that much.” He said. That was the same for any parent, he thought. Any good parent, at least. It wasn’t what his parents had done for him and he wanted things to be different for Elizabeth. He wanted her to be able to do whatever made her happy.
“Maybe we can.” Kurt repeated, shrugging his shoulders. He adjusted himself and Blaine so he could hold his husband closer. He had to admit that he was glad that Blaine had calmed down. He really hadn’t liked that he had come home to see his husband crying over his parents, and maybe he was still upset but at least he wasn’t crying anymore. “I think we can, B. I really do.”
The younger man nodded, knowing that his husband wanted to be different from his parents. He was sure that’s why he wanted his own parents to be in their daughter’s life so badly. He wanted her to feel loved in a way Kurt could only assume he hadn’t. “I know. I know. You know I want nothing but the best in the world for her, but until they change I don’t think it’s the best. I really don’t. So until they change? It may be best to keep them at a distance.” Kurt said, letting out a sigh as he held Blaine closer. “How about we go lay down… I bet you’re exhausted and we can… we can talk more about what we’re going to do with your parents in the morning. Okay?” He asked, pulling away enough from Blaine to look him in the eye. “Let’s go to our room. I’ll hold you and get you to calm down. Please? Let me do that?”
“I know you do, Kurt. I really do.” Blaine said. “I think that’s how any decent parent would think like that, honestly. Mine didn’t, but they weren’t exactly stellar parents in the first place. Hi.
That can be arranged.
You look… happy.
I’d really like it if we did arrange for something like that to happen. I really do want to hold you.
I’m sitting in the bathtub with my husband. Why wouldn’t I be happy? Then hold me.

After the last message? Yes. Yes, I am. I deleted that for a reason.
Right now, I’m focusing on having a nice romantic night with my husband. I will not allow any anon to ruin that.
Jumping in now.
Well, hello there.
I know I seemed impatient and… as you said, horny but I really wouldn’t mind just holding you and relaxing if that’s what you want.
Hi. That can be arranged.

A human being? Yes, he is.
